Obituary

In loving memory of
Henry Parisee
March 5th, 1957 – March 24th, 2019

With heavy hearts his family announces his sudden passing on Sunday March 24th, 2019 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 62. He was the son of Hélène Parisee and late William Parisee. Cherished spouse of Debbie Kovich, father of Adam (Tara Trottier), step grandfather of Simon and grandpa to be. He was especially close to his sister Louise (Don) Lafleur (Timmins), brother of Neil and Bruce Parisee (Toronto) and Nancy (Dave) Moore (Toronto). Son-in-law of Loretta Francis (Timmins) and the late James Francis, brother-in-law of Jim (Kathy) Francis (South Porcupine) and Mike (Heather) Francis (Sault Ste.Marie). Henry will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

If we do not laugh, we cry. While we feel deep sorrow at Henry’s passing we want to celebrate all of our happy, joyous memories of him. We were all touched by Henry’s life. In accordance, all are invited to a Celebration of his Life on Saturday April 6th, 2019 from 2 to 4 pm at the Smooth Rock Falls Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 169 5th, Street, Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario.

As per Henry’s wishes no flowers please but donations to the Smooth Rock Falls Legion Branch #305, Box #105, Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, P0L 2B0 would be greatly appreciated by the family. When I think of my brother Henry, I remember him being a great friend to so many people. He had a big heart. Always willing to lend a hand. Whether you were a friend, a co-worker or a family member, Henry was there to help. Specifically during the time of our father's passing. Henry put his personal plans on hold and took care of us. I hoped and hoped that one day he would find that special someone. I would like to thank you Debbie for sharing your life with my brother. Thank you for loving him and for making him a very happy man.

So heartbreaking to learn of Henry’s passing! Réal always enjoyed cutting his wood with the woodmiser! He was a friend and they always had something to talk about when they met! They had good laughs and when Réal passed he would give me words of encouragement every time I saw him! He will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with you, Adam and his family!

Lina & I are so sorry to see our friend with the "heart of gold" leave us far too young. Hank was such a great friend when we grew up together, and we easily rekindled our friendship each time we saw each other over the years. I have so many fond memories of him...fishing up the river, camping trips to Newpost Falls, hockey and the times he came to visit us in Toronto and Vancouver. I was especially honoured when he accepted my invitation to be an usher at our wedding. If we were back home in Edmonton instead of on the road RVing in Florida, I would be getting on a plane next week to pay my respects. I will surely be there in spirit. Our deepest sympathy to Debbie and all those that held this dear man close to their heart. We'll miss you Hank. Al & Lina Davies
