Est décédé entouré de sa famille bien-aimée à l’hôpital Général Anson d’Iroquois Falls, Ontario le jeudi 10 octobre 2019 à l’âge de 88 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil sa tendre épouse Fernande Dugas (née Pouliot), ses enfants Claude (Yvonne) Dugas, Carmen (Byron) Caron, Linda (Garry) Moore, Jocelyne Stanlake (feu Roger Fournier), Serge (Linda) Dugas et Alain (Kim) Dugas, ses petits-enfants Éric (Lindsay) Dugas, Mathieu (Gabrielle) Dugas, Thalia Caron, Blake Caron, Taylor (Megan) Moore, Michael (Valerie) Stanlake, Christina (Donny) Davis, Justin Dugas et Patrick Dugas, ses arrière-petits-enfants Ezra, Jordane, Easton, Trent, Vanessa, Maxim, James et Bethany. Il était le fils de feu Camille Dugas et feu Élianne Dugas (née Morin). Frère de feu Armand (feu Lina) Dugas, feu Ghislaine (feu Paul) Boivert, feu Yvon (Gaetanne) Dugas. Gilles laisse également les membres de la famille Pouliot, plusieurs neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

Passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Thursday October 10, 2019 at the age of 88. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Fernande Dugas (nee Pouliot), his children Claude (Yvonne) Dugas, Carmen (Byron) Caron, Linda (Garry) Moore, Jocelyne Stanlake (late Roger Fournier), Serge (Linda) Dugas and Alain (Kim) Dugas, his grandchildren Éric (Lindsay) Dugas, Mathieu (Gabrielle) Dugas, Thalia Caron, Blake Caron, Taylor (Megan) Moore, Michael (Valerie) Stanlake, Christina (Donny) Davis, Justin Dugas and Patrick Dugas, his great grandchildren Ezra, Jordane, Easton, Trent, Vanessa, Maxim, James and Bethany. He was the son of the late Camille Dugas and late Élianne Dugas (nee Morin). Brother of the late Armand (late Lina) Dugas, late Ghislaine (late Paul) Boivert, late Yvon (Gaetanne) Dugas. Gilles also leaves behind the Pouliot family, many nieces, nephews and friends.
