Entourée de l’amour des siens, sa famille vous annonce avec tristesse le décès de Jeannine survenu à l’hôpital Général Anson d'Iroquois Falls le vendredi 26 juillet 2019, à l'âge de 93 ans. Elle était la fille de feu George Girard et de feu Exilia McCrea. Elle laisse dans le deuil son tendre époux depuis 70 ans Gabriel Charette, ses enfants adorés Nicole Charette, Gilles Charette (Carole Apps), Carole Charette Rossi (David Rossi) et Daniel Charette (Liz Caron), ses petits-enfants chéris: Anne, Marie, Andrew (Jaimee Zeudel), Chantal (Daniel Tessier) et ses arrières petits-enfants Katalina, Kingston, Kooper et Daniel Jr. Elle était la sœur de feu Léopold (feu Jeanne-d'Arc) Girard, feu Laurette (feu Joseph) Emmell, feu Rose (feu Henri) Trépanier, feu Fernande (feu Maurice) Vachon, feu Ernest (feu Jeanette) Girard. Elle manquera également à ses nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 641 Ave deTroyes, Iroquois Falls, le mardi 30 juillet 2019 à compter de 14h. Les funérailles suivront à 15h à l'Église Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens d'Iroquois Falls. Une réception aura lieu à la Salle de l'Église Sts-Martyrs et les cendres seront déposées au Columbarium du Cimetière Abitibi.

Passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Friday July 26th, 2019 at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late George Girard and the late Exilia McCrea.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband for 70 years Gabriel Charette, her cherished children Nicole Charette, Gilles Charette (Carole Apps), Carole Charette Rossi (David Rossi) and Daniel Charette (Liz Caron), her grandchildren Anne, Marie, Andrew (Jaimee Zeudel), Chantal (Daniel Tessier) and her great grandchildren Katalina, Kingston, Kooper and Daniel Jr. She was the sister of the late Léopold (late Jeanne-d'Arc) Girard, late Laurette (late Joseph) Emmell, late Rose (late Henri) Trépanier, late Fernande (late Maurice) Vachon and late Ernest (late Jeanette) Girard. She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit on Tuesday July 30th, 2019 from 2 pm. The funeral mass will follow at 3 pm at Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens Roman Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls followed by a reception in the parish hall. The ashes will be placed in the Columbarium in the Abitibi Cemetery.
