Mr. John Albert Gourley
May 12, 1932 - April 27, 2019

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Saturday April 27th, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late June Mildred Gourley (nee Wootton) (2018). He will be sadly missed by his children Marilyn (John), Bev (Carl) and Derrick (Donna), his grandchildren John (Julie), Chris (Katie), Sally, Jason, Jennifer (Kris), Buffy (Terry), Cheryl (William), Pamela, Sarah (Jason), and Justin (Tanya), his great-grandchildren Emma, Jack, Charlie, Tessa, Waylon, Quinton, Karissa, Makenzie, Maiya, Kaelyn, Logan, Taylor, Hudson, Ethan and Cedric. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his special furry friend Benjamin. Also predeceased by his son Ron Gourley, his father John Gourley, his mother Elizabeth Gourley (nee Walker), and his siblings Lillian (George) Critchley, Steven Gourley and Donald Gourley.

Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, on Wednesday May 1st, 2019 from 12 noon, followed by the funeral service at St-Mark's Anglican Church, 20 Anson Drive, Iroquois Falls at 2 pm and followed by a reception. The interment will be held in the spring at the Greenhill Cemetery in Matheson.
