Mrs. Lois D. Drapeau (nee Barr)

July 23, 1948 – August 11, 2019

Lois passed away peacefully and courageously from a lung cancer surrounded by her loving family at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Sunday August 11 2019 at the age of 71. Lovingly remembered by the love of her life, Frank Drapeau of 53 years, her precious grandchildren Marc Drapeau (Kayla) and Cassandra Drapeau (Brad). Also survived by her brother-in-law Brian Caron (Vivian), numerous nieces nephews, siblings and friends.

Predeceased by the love of their life, their son, Mark J.R. Drapeau (2013) and her parents William E. Barr (1976) and Edna M. Barr and also predeceased by her brothers Ted, Earl and baby Gordon.

Lois was an avid bingo player who enjoyed cooking, baking and crafting. She enjoyed dressing nicely and spoke to everyone she saw out on the streets, in stores or wherever she went. Lois was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother with a great sense of humour and a loving, kind and generous heart. Through it all, she was still joking, laughing   and being her witty self-right till the end.
