Mr. Albert W. Purdy

March 7, 1942 – August 18, 2025

His family announces the peaceful passing of Albert surrounded by his loved ones at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 83 on Monday August 18th, 2025. He was the son of the late David Sr. Purdy and late Alma Purdy (nee Gauthier). He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Rachel Purdy (nee Boucher), children Ken (Barbara) Purdy, Kathy (Dan) Russell and Kevin (Pamela) Purdy, great grandchildren Zackery (Marsha) Purdy and Nicholas (Rebecca) Purdy, great grandchildren Tyson, Lucas, Kylie and Cole. He was the brother of Shirley (late Harve) Beaton, late Dave Jr. (Gale) Purdy, Audrey (Bryan) McMillan, late Bernie (Carol-Anne) Purdy and late Gary (Lise) Purdy. Albert also leaves behind all his in-laws of the Boucher family, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private committal service will take place at the Abitibi Cemetery Columbarium. If desired memorial donations may be made to the South Centennial Manor and would be greatly appreciated.
