Mr. Alex Kirkbride

January 11, 1935 – August 6, 2023

With heavy hearts his family announces his sudden passing at his residence in Cochrane on Sunday August 6th, 2023 at the age of 88.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Carole Kirkbride (nee O’Connell), children Kevin (Martine) Kirkbride, Chris (Anita) Kirkbride and Karen (Steve) Moore, grandchildren Allison (René), Kurtis (Courtney), Candice (Ryan) and Todd (Lexie), great grandchildren Knox, Sloan, Karson and Charlotte. He was the brother of late Joy (late Ted) Beardmore, step-brother of Mary Kirkbride (Wolfgang Snyder), brother-in-law of late Paul (Jean) O’Connell, Joan (late Tony) Bonin, late Ross (late Bev) O’Connell, Paddy (Bill Pulfer, late Stan Petran). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Thursday August 10th, 2023 from 6 pm to 8 and Friday August 11th, 2023 from 10 am and the Funeral Service will follow at 11 am at the funeral Home, followed by a reception at the legion. He will be laid to rest at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery.
