La famille annonce avec tristesse son décès, samedi 19 octobre 2024, à l’hôpital Lady Minto de Cochrane à l’âge de 88 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Claude (Doris) Tremblay, Rémi (Joanne) Tremblay, Manon Tremblay (feu Mike Connors), Alain (Carolyn) Tremblay, Nathalie (Armand Dumoulin) Tremblay et sa belle-fille Rena.

Alice était la grand-mère et arrière-grand-mère de plusieurs petit-enfants et arrière-petit-enfants.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses sœurs Pauline (Jacques) Léonard, Madeleine (Wayne) Koops, Simone Lacroix, Gabrielle (feu Romald) Cheff et son frère Lionel (Lina) Thomas. Elle sera manquée par plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Alice est partie rejoindre son époux Raymond, ses enfants Lise Tremblay, Michel Tremblay, ses parents Ovide et Aurore (née Gougeon) Thomas, ses sœurs Solange Verboncoeur, Jeannine Thomas, ses frères Antoine Thomas, Armand Thomas et Raymond (Thérèse) Thomas.

La famille recevra parents et amis le jeudi 24 octobre 2024 à partir de 10h à 12h30 à Les Maisons Funéraires Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Ave. South de Cochrane.

La messe funéraire aura lieu à l’église Transfiguration à 13h, le jeudi 24 octobre 2024.

Alice sera enterrée à côté de son époux Raymond au cimetière catholique de Cochrane.

The family wishes to announce with deep sorrow her passing on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Lady Minto Hospital at the age of 88. She will be sadly missed by her children Claude (Doris) Tremblay, Rémi (Joanne) Tremblay, Manon Tremblay (late Mike Connors), Alain (Carolyn) Tremblay, Nathalie (Armand Dumoulin) Tremblay and her daughter in law Rena.

Alice was the grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She also leaves in mourning her siblings Pauline (Jacques) Léonard, Madeleine (Wayne) Koops, Simone Lacroix, Gabrielle (late Romald) Cheff and Lionel (Lina) Thomas. She will be missed by numerous nephews and nieces.

Predeceased by her husband Raymond, her children Lise Tremblay, Michel Tremblay, her parents Ovide and Aurore (nee Gougeon) Thomas and her siblings Solange Verboncoeur, Jeannine Thomas, Antoine Thomas, Armand Thomas and Raymond (Thérèse) Thomas.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, October 24, 2024 starting from 10 am to 12:30 pm at the Génier Gauthier Funeral home, 70 Seventh Avenue South in Cochrane, ON.

The funeral mass will be held at the Transfiguration Church on Thursday
October 24, 2024 at 1 pm followed by the interment at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery.
