Allan Blaine Porter
August 18th 1947 - August 18th 2021
Passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. Allan fought a short but challenging battle with stage four mesothelioma (a rare lung cancer) which he ultimately could not overcome. Allan was an outdoorsman and fisherman, and loved to travel. He always put his family first, his happiest times were spent surrounded by family talking and singing around a campfire.
He is survived by his soulmate of 45 years Yvonne Porter. He leaves behind his children, Darlene, Phillip, Kenneth, Derrick, Allana, Allan, Doris, Alanda, and Jennifer. As well as 39 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
He is survived by his siblings Sylvia, Brenda, Roger, Debbie, Terry, Percy, Nancy, and Brian and predeceased by his sister Myldred. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins.
He is reunited in heaven with his best friend of 40+ years, Jim.
