Angela Christine Mitchell

Angela Christine Mitchell passed away peacefully in her home on November 10, 2020 in Cochrane, Ontario, Canada. Angela was born on March ("the tooth") 2nd, 1966, in Toronto, Ontario. She spent the majority of her childhood in Bowmanville, Ontario where she attended St. Joseph's and St. Stephen's elementary schools, and Bowmanville High School. At the tender age of 5, Angela was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes which became a lifelong hurdle that she managed with strength and a smile. Angela was a true warrior and a bringer of light. Her smile and feisty sense of humour never failed to light up a room and warm the hearts of those near her. Through much of her adult life she shared these beautiful God given gifts with others, volunteering her time as a "friendly visitor" at South Centennial Manor, at the Legion, and as a beloved choir member along with her mother, Paulette, at St. Anne's church, in Iroquois Falls, Ontario. Angela also had a special connection with animals, especially her beloved cat, Diamond.
Angela is predeceased by her baby daughter, Bobby Mitchell; her brother, Michael Mitchell; her sister, Laurel Anderson (John Weigelt); and her mother, Paulette Kelly (Michael Kelly). Angela is survived by and dearly missed by her father, Michael Mitchell (Doreen Smith); her sister, Piper Anderson (Luke Salomons); her sister, Tiffany Mitchell; her sister, Mindy McPhee Mitchell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Angela touched the hearts of many. As family members would often say, she was a real BONUS. You live on in our hearts, Angela. Until we meet again. We love you.
