Angela Marie Shier (nee Cyr)
November 11, 1971 – September 30, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that her family announces the passing of Angela surrounded by her loving family at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Monday September 30th, 2024 at the age of 52. She will be deeply missed by her husband Kevin Shier, children Robert Shier (Justice Poe) and Jamie Cyr, grandchildren Jordan (Donovan), Jason, Mathew, Mackenzie and Mila, her siblings Mike (Josée) Cyr, Andrea (Dennis) Lacroix and Barbara (Mike) Villeneuve, mother-in-law Eleanor (late Allan) Shier and sister-in-law Kyla (Glenn) Prevost. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Angela was predeceased in 2021 by her mother Linda Gauthier.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lady Minto Hospital Foundation and would be greatly appreciated.
Her family wishes to thank from the bottom of their hearts all the nursing staff at the Lady Minto Hospital and Dr. Ross for the good care provided to Angela during her short illness.
