The family announces with great sadness the passing of Annemarie in Moosonee on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the age of 52.
She will be greatly missed by her parents John B, Tookate and Elsie Tookata (Mattinas), her children Tracy Tookata, Late Adrien Tookata, Samantha Tookata, Jason Tookata and Kayla Tookata. She was the grandmother of Ayden, Kryden, Keenan, Tia, Jerome, Candace, Brandon, Amber, Colton and Zeke (Ezekiel) Tookata.
Annemarie was the sister of Margaret Gunner, John.B Tookata Jr, Juliette Sutherland and Michael Tookata.
She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
The family will be receiving friends and family on Thursday, November 14. 2024 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Moosonee Pentecostal Assemblies.
The funeral will be held at the Moosonee Pentecostal Assemblies church on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 1:00PM followed by the burial at the Moosonee Cemetery.
