It is with great sadness that the family of Archie announces his passing on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Lady Minto hospital at the age of 78. He will be deeply missed by his children: the late Peter, Steven (Tammy), Andy (Shelly) Barrette, Sheila (late Ghislain) Lalonde, Stephanie Côté and Katelyn Groulx-Barrette.

Archie will be missed by his sisters-in-law Carol and Kathy, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Joseph Paul Rene and Annie Louise Mathers, all his siblings Ronald, Shirley Toal, Marie Whiting, Raymond, Victor, Larry, Joseph and Arthur.

In respecting Archie’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
