C’est avec tristesse que sa famille vous annonce son décès survenu le dimanche 18 mai 2026 à la Villa Minto de Cochrane, à l’âge de 83 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Léonel et de feu Antoinette Duguay (née Bellerive).

Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Pierre Proulx, ses enfants Lucie (Normand) Jacques, Charles (Joelle) Proulx et Liette Proulx (Rejean Bouchard), ses petits-enfants Mathieu (Brandi) Stephane, Migueal (Ashley), Joey (Madeleine), Jennie (Roger) et Julie (Pierre), ses arrière-petits-enfants Jaxon, Cindy, Dominic (Vanessa), Kimberly, Maggie, Emilie, Addison, Chanelle, Avery et Aryanna ainsi que son arrière-arrière-petite-fille Talia Rose. Elle était la sœur de Elise (feu Jack), Réjeanne (Richard), Thérèse (feu William), Raymonde (Allan), Richard, Christine (Fred), feu Jacqueline (feu Yvon). Elle laisse également dans le deuil les autres membres de la famille Duguay, toute la famille Proulx ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

La famille recevra parents et amis à la Maison Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Ave Sud, Cochrane, le mercredi 20 mai 2026 de 18h à 20h ainsi que le jeudi 21 mai 2026 à compter de 10h30. Les funérailles auront lieu le jeudi 21 mai 2026 à 11h30 à l’Église Transfiguration, Cochrane. Une réception suivra à la Salle de l’Église.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Aurore announce her passing on Sunday May 18, 2026 at the Villa Minto in Cochrane, at the age of 83. She was the beloved daughter of the late Léonel and the late Antoinette Duguay (nee Bellerive).

She leaves behind her beloved husband Pierre Proulx, her children Lucie (Normand) Jacques, Charles (Joelle) Proulx and Liette Proulx (Rejean Bouchard), her grandchildren Mathieu (Brandi) Stephane, Migueal (Ashley), Joey (Madeleine), Jennie (Roger) and Julie (Pierre), her great-grandchildren Jaxon, Cindy, Dominic (Vanessa), Kimberly, Maggie, Emilie, Addison, Chanelle, Avery et Aryanna and her great-great-daughter Talia Rose. She was the sisters of Elise (late Jack), Réjeanne (Richard), Thérèse (late William), Raymonde (Allan), Richard, Christine (Fred), late Jacqueline (late Yvon). She will also be missed by the other member of the Proulx and Duguay family, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends and family at Génier Gauthier funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave South, Cochrane on Wednesday May 20, 2026 from 6 pm to 8pm and Thursday May 21, 2026 from 10:30am.

The funeral mass will be held at the Transfiguration church on Thursday May 21, 2026 at 11:30 am. A reception will follow at the Church Hall.
