Mrs. Barbara Dorothy Fortier (nee Montgomery)
February 22, 1955 – April 12, 2025

Barbara passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 70 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital on Saturday April 12th, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Robert Montgomery and late Mildred Montgomery (nee Mitchell).  She was predeceased on March 23rd, 2020 by her husband Gilles Fortier. She will be greatly missed by her sons Mark (Melissa) Fortier of Hamilton and Terry (Ashley) Fortier of Cochrane, her grandchildren Marselo Fortier, Angelina Fortier, Riley Jacques, Breanne Jacques and Alexander Fortier, her siblings  Elizabeth Plante, Stewart Montgomery and Sandy Montgomery.

Also left behind are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
