Mrs. Barbara Turgeon (nee Wootton)

May 12, 1948 – August 14, 2025

Barb passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Thursday August 14th, 2025 at the age of 77. She was born on May 12th, 1948 in Ottawa to the late Walter Wootton and late Leola Wootton (nee Harrison). December 10th, 1966 she married in Shillington the love of her life Paul Turgeon who predeceased her in 2008.

She will be deeply missed by her children Pauline Theriault (Al Gravel) and Richard Turgeon (Karen Nicholson), her grandchildren Kayla, Paul, Jason, Matthew and Logan, her great grandchildren Amara, Jayce, Parker, Carson and Isabelle.  Barb was the sister of late Nellie (late Allan)Cline, late June (late Jack)Gourley, late James Wootton, late Joyce (late Dave)Dawn, late Shirley (Noel)Keyes, late Walter Wootton and survived by John (Kerry)Wootton.  She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and was also predeceased by nieces and nephews Viola, Ken, Ron, Janet, Michael, Charles and Gregory.

Visitation will be held at the Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls on Monday August 18th, 2025 from 6 pm to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday August 19th, 2025 at 11:30 am, the interment to follow at the Shillington Cemetery and a luncheon at the Shillington Hall following the committal service.
