Barry Franklin Martin

June 15, 1941 – April 3, 2022

Barry passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Sunday April 3rd, 2022 at the age of 80. He will be deeply missed by his spouse of 24 years Suzanne Morrison. Barry also leaves behind his daughters Laurie (Glen) and Darlene (Gary), sister Nancy Martin, the mother of his children Bonnie, grandchildren Cory, Shane, Crystal, Chloe, Tara and Aaron, great grandchildren Coby, Trinity, Logan, Scarlett and Cohen, extended family Darlene (Pete), Karen (Guy), David and Cindy (Roch). Barry was predeceased by daughter Diane and grandson Christopher, sisters Doreen and Cora Lee. Barry toiled many years in mining, Ford Motors Guay’s Garage and for the Val Gagné Fire Department in order to provide for his family. Cremation has taken place as per his wishes no services to be held. His ashes will be buried at a later date.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Auri Bruno-Petrina, Nurse Practitioner Buffy Gourley, all the staff at the Anson General Hospital for the excellent care provided to Barry and to all his family and friends who were there to support him and the family. It was greatly appreciated.
