Mrs. Bertha Edith Cook (nee Hutchinson)
January 23, 1932 – January 5, 2024
It is with great sorrow the Cook family announces the passing of Bertha at the Bingham Memorial Hospital on Friday January 5, 2024, at the age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence “Bud” Cook who predeceased her in 1995 and daughter of the late James H. Hutchinson and the late Helen E. Hutchinson (nee Cracknell).
She will be deeply missed by her children Colleen Cook (late Lionel Tapp), Alice (Frank) Jezic, Clarence (Ann) Cook, Charles Cook and Laura Cook, her grandchildren Natasha (Brenden), Pascal (Darren), Andrea (Oran), Jennifer-Leigh (Alex), Rebecca and Andrew, her great-grandchildren Oceana, Aiden, Adriana, Averie, Lukas and Lincoln. Bertha was the sister of late Pearl Hutchinson, late Allan Hutchinson, late Richard Hutchinson and late Ruby Rogers. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday January 10, 2024 from 11am at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Ave, Iroquois Falls, Ontario, followed by a funeral Service at 1pm at the funeral Home. The internment will be held in the spring at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Matheson.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society or to the Charity of your choice and would be greatly appreciated.
