January 16, 1937 – November 24, 2025

The Hawryluk family is saddened to announce the passing of Betty on Monday, November 24, 2025 at the Lady Minto Hospital of Cochrane at the age of 88.

She leaves in mourning her brother Jack Sr. Hawryluk (Georgiana Grzela), nephew Jack Jr. (Brenda-Lee) Hawryluk, grand-nephew & niece Andrew Hawryluk (Ashley Lachance), Ashton (Logan) Ferrington and her great-grand-nephew and niece Liam Joseph, Zelica Ferrington, nephew Michel (Sue) Girard, grand nieces Stephanie (Richard) Carriere, Danielle Girard, great-grand niece and nephew Riley Carriere, Easten Carriere and nephews Greg (late Carole) Groulx and Clifford (late Lorraine) Groulx. She will be missed by her longtime friends and neighbor Ronald (Sharon) Zuck, her companion and recipient of life skills and mentoring, Gaetan Pronovost.

Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Nellie (nee Galanowski) Hawryluk.

Betty was well known around the community for taking care of all the town flowers and her love for animals, specifically her canine companions.

In respecting her wishes, no visitations or funeral to be held. A private spring burial to be held.
