Mr. Brian Sells
January 1, 1930 – August 16, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing at the Anson General Hospital on Wednesday August 16th, 2023 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of 55 years of the late Elizabeth (nee Orrah) and cherished father of Bruce (Josée Lambert) Sells of Val Gagné, ON and Pauline (Kevin Benoit) Hix of Bedford, N.S. He will be forever remembered by his grandchildren; Justin (Angela) Hix, and Trista Hix, as well as his step-grandchildren; Brody and Cassandra Purdy and Albert Benoit. He was also predeceased by his parents Vincent Sells and Hannah Selles (nee Hodgson).
Brian served with RAF between 1951 to 1954 and came to Canada in 1954. He worked at Monteith Correctional Complex from 1954 to 1987.
Cremation will take place and his ashes will be laid to rest at a later date in Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia.
