February 4, 1992 – February 15, 2024
Chad’s family announces with broken hearts his sudden passing in Iroquois Falls on Thursday February 15th, 2024 at the age of 32. He will be forever missed by his daughter Sophia Lefebvre, his beloved Shannon Steeves, his mother Josée Lefebvre (Shawn), his father Chris (Mary) Burling, his sister Vada Josie Tookata, his grandmother Faye Burling, his godparents Nicole (René) Thibeault, his aunt Anne Drapeau (his favorite uncle late Mark Drapeau), his cousins Valérie Thibeault (Mark Pasi) and their children Liam and Amelia, Marc Drapeau (Kayla Gagné) and their daughter Addison, Cassie Drapeau and Jeff Doole, his 2 best friends Kyle Denault and Jason Boucher. Chad will also be greatly missed by many other relatives and great friends. He was predeceased by his step-father Brian Porter, grandmother Simone Lefebvre (nee Lachapelle), grandfather Louis Lefebvre, and uncle Marc Lefebvre.
Gone too soon, Chad will be remembered for his contagious smile. He enjoyed countless adventures of fishing and hunting in the bush with his buddies.
The Funeral Mass for Chad will be celebrated at Sts-Martyrs Church in Iroquois Falls on Monday February 26th, 2024 at 11 am and a luncheon will follow in the Parish Hall. He will be laid to rest later in the spring at the Abitibi Cemetery in Iroquois Falls.
In lieu of flowers, in memory of Chad his family would be forever grateful for donations towards his daughter Sophia’s education fund.
