With heavy hearts, the Linklater family announces the passing of Cheryl at the age of 44 on Friday, March 20th, 2026, at Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane. She will be sadly missed by her beautiful children Amira and Kadin, her sisters Laura Natera, Sharon Plourde, and twin sister Jamie (Randy) Gravel, her nieces and nephews Michael (Breanna) Natera, Bryan (Melissa) Natera, Shawn (Vanessa) Natera, Chelsey (Dave) Plourde, Alex-AJ Plourde, Proud G-Auntie of Lucas, Kylar, and Logan Plourde. She is now reunited with her beloved parents Herb (2006) and Sonja (2020) Linklater, and niece Kari Plourde (1995).

Many friends surrounded Cheryl and her children and will be remembered with appreciation and respect. Cheryl was a beautiful kind and loving soul and will be remembered for her bright smile, infectious laugh and willing, helping and giving heart.

Relatives and friends are welcome to the visitation at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Monday March 30th, 2026 from 10 am. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon at the Funeral Home, and the reception will follow at the Friendship Center. Later in the spring Cheryl will be laid to rest with her mom & dad at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery.

The Linklater family wishes to express their most heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ross, Dr. Parsons, all the Nurses and Staff at the Lady Minto Hospital. Your care for Cheryl and her Circle was very much appreciated and will forever be remembered in our hearts.
