Claire passed away at the Health Sciences North Hospital in Sudbury on Sunday January 19th, 2025 at the age of 54. She was predeceased in 2021 by her cherished husband of 28 years Paul Leonard. She was the Beloved mother of Joshua (Renee) Leonard, Cassandra Valliere-Leonard (Marc St-Amant), Sabrina Valliere-Leonard (Justin Burgoyne), late Zachary Valliere-Leonard, Jean-Sebastien Valliere-Leonard and Tamara Valliere-Leonard (Nicholas Villeneuve). Devoted grandmother of Lexys, Amber, Brody, Noëmie, Mason, Zaria, Lydia and Kingsley. She also leaves behind her father Gilbert Valliere, her siblings Alan (Bonnie) Valliere, Marc (Lori) Valliere, Joel (Amanda) Valliere, and Janet (Claude) Thomas, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Claire was also predeceased by her mother Mirella Valliere (nee Thomas).

Family ​&​ friends are welcome at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Monday January 27, 2025, from 2 pm to 4pm to express their last goodbyes to Claire.
