Mr. Colin Cody Child

April 14, 1954 – July 1, 2025

The Child family announces with deep sorrow the sudden passing of Colin (Colee to those who knew him well) at the age of 71 at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Tuesday July 1st, 2025. He was the son of the late Harold Child and late Sybil Child (nee Harbridge). He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Joanne Child (nee Guertin), treasured children Cassandra, Taylor (Jessica Graham) and Dayna (Chase Stevanovich), precious grandchildren Emerson and Denver Child. He was the brother of late Gary Child, Ken (Sharon) Child, late Chris (Judy) Child, Mark (Ann) Child, Richard Child and Graham Child. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Colin’s beloved hobbies included sharing his gifted talents and knowledge of woodworking, enjoying time at the cottage with family, and of course, his partner in crime, Tanner the family dog. His life was enriched with many triumphs and successes, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him including his loving and devoted wife Joanne who he lovingly called “My Lady”.

Relatives & friends are welcome to visit  Evangel Family Church in Matheson on Friday July 11th, 2025 from 10 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11 am with the interment to follow.
