In Loving Memory of
D’Arcy Robert Joseph Rousseau
July 10, 1978 - November 1, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of D’Arcy Robert Joseph Rousseau of Iroquois Falls announces his sudden and unexpected passing on November 1, 2024, at the age of 46.
He will be lovingly remembered by Crystal Rousseau (nee Boulay) and their three sons; Rylan, Cohen and Tristan Rousseau.
He was the son of Jules Denis Rousseau and Mary Monica Rousseau (Towsley)
He leaves to mourn his brother Paul Rousseau (Laura Roessler), he was the brother of the late Patrick Rousseau (2016), wife Jelena Lietz.
He was the son in law of Michel and Rosanne Boulay. Brother in law to Christopher Boulay (Jessica Russell)
D’Arcy will be missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. He also leaves behind many close friends, which were brothers to him.
Music was his passion, it touched his soul and he found peace in the lyrics. He loved jamming with family and friends, he was the life of the party. He adored his work as an Oreflow and heavy equipment operator. His work crew were not only coworkers but considered family.
In his younger days, he loved going to Mistango for yearly family camping trips. He shared this love with his children. Camp fires with s’mores with his sons was his specialty.
He also enjoyed his fishing and hunting adventures in the bush with his dear close friends. Nature was his element. He loved waking up before the sunrise, to have coffee outside listening to the birds chirp.
His new found hobby was riding his motorcycle. He found peace on the road listening to his favourite music. The thrill of speed and the sense of freedom ran in his blood while he found comfort in the open road ahead.
Travel was very important to him, he loved the sun and new adventures. Ordering a good old Guinness at the airport or by the beach side.
Gone to soon but never forgotten, your memory will continue through your children.
In lieu of flowers, in memory of D’Arcy Rousseau, his family would be forever grateful for donations towards his three sons’ education funds (Cheque payable to Crystal Rousseau).
Family and friends are welcome to visit the Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, on Friday, November 8th from 6 to 8pm. A Christian Mass will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11am at the St. Anne Parish. Christian burial to be followed at the Abitibi cemetery in Iroquois Falls.
