With heavy hearts Dan’s family announces his sudden and unexpected passing on Saturday September 21st, 2024 at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 49. He was the son of the late Diane Giguere. He will be deeply missed by his wife Nathalie Lachance (nee Dandurand), his daughter Logan Lachance (Nick Lambert) and stepson Joshua Dandurand-Parent (Stephanie Beaulieu). He was the brother of Aurèle (Hélène) Lachance, Estelle Lachance (Derek Moore) and late André Lachance, Half-brother of Rachel, Renée and Derek, Son-in-law of Gisèle (late Dooner) Dandurand and brother-in-law of Natasha (Simon) Weldon. Dan will be missed by many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dan loved to be around the ones he loved. He was best known to be a helping hand. He was an avid carpenter and loved to build and learn new things. One of his favorite hobby was music.
