The family announces with great sadness the sudden passing of David at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Friday June 7, 2024, at the age of 59.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Victoria (nee Crawford) and his children Kayla Mayappo, Michelle Preweda, Amanda Hardisty (Erin Lake), David Hardisty Jr. (Michelle), Heather Hardisty (River), Liam Hardisty and his grandchildren Tikawchin Mayappo, Xander Visitor, Stella Visitor, Kelani Visitor, Hayden Preweda, Kingsley Hardisty, Maislee Hardisty, Lexie Hardisty, Eric Jacques and Kasidee Hardisty

David will also be missed by his siblings Rita Hardisty (Ron Crawford), Norman Hardisty (Debbie Innis), Peter Hardisty, Sandra Hardisty, Mary Hardisty and Kenny Hardisty (Christine). He was the son of the late Norman Sr. and Beulah (nee Visitor) Hardisty.

He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. David was extremely proud to receive his diploma in Forestry Operation Technician from the Northern College of Kirkland Lake.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 9:30 am till 11 am at the Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South of Cochrane.

The funeral will follow at 11am at the funeral home chapel of Cochrane, ON.
