Deacon Ronald Bélanger

With great sorrow his family announces his peaceful passing surrounded by his loved ones in the early hours of Saturday March 2nd, 2024 at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 81. He was the son of the late Sylvio Bélanger and late Laurence Bélanger (nee Gervais).

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Julie Bélanger (nee Clément), his children André (Jacqueline) Bélanger, Gilles (Lise) Bélanger, Jean Bélanger (Lynne Lacroix) and late Ivan (Caroline) Bélanger, grandchildren Mathieu (Jessie) Bélanger, late Jérémie Bélanger, Michèle Bélanger, Jacob Bélanger (Hannah Roberts), Jasmin Bélanger, Yanick Bélanger (Hayley Laurin), Sébastien (Sara) Bélanger, Éric Bélanger (Rylee Kaye) and Mélissa (Danielle) Bélanger, great grandchildren Léo, Greyson and Violet. He was the brother of Florent Bélanger (late Noëlla), late Ernest Bélanger (Mariette), Réjeanne Sauvé (late Louis), Robert Pompon Bélanger (Suzanne), Liliane Francis (late Philippe), Jeannette Labrèche (Gaetan), late Gérald Bélanger (Fernande), Marie Trahan (Gilles) and Léo Bélanger (Mona-Lynn), brother-in-law of Léo (Hèlène) Clément, late Réal (Marie) Clément, late Fernand (Margaret) Clément and late Gilberte Clément. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are welcome to pay their respects at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes, Iroquois Falls on Tuesday March 5th, 2024 from 6 to 8 pm and on Wednesday March 6th, 2024 from 10 to 11:30 am. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 noon at the Sts-Martyrs Roman Catholic Church. The interment will be held later in the spring at the Abitibi Cemetery in Iroquois Falls.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Anson General Hospital and would be greatly appreciated.

Il était le fils de feu Sylvio Bélanger et de feu Laurence Bélanger (née Gervais). Il laisse dans le deuil sa tendre épouse Julie Bélanger (née Clément), ses enfants André (Jacqueline) Bélanger, Gilles (Lise) Bélanger, Jean Bélanger (Lynne Lacroix) et feu Ivan (Caroline) Bélanger, ses petits-enfants Mathieu (Jessie) Bélanger, feu Jérémie Bélanger, Michèle Bélanger, Jacob Bélanger (Hannah Roberts), Jasmin Bélanger, Yanick Bélanger (Hayley Laurin), Sébastien (Sara) Bélanger, Éric Bélanger (Rylee Kaye) et Mélissa (Danielle) Bélanger et ses arrière-petits-enfants Léo, Greyson et Violet. Il était le frère de Florent Bélanger (feu Noëlla), feu Ernest Bélanger (Mariette), Réjeanne Sauvé (feu Louis), Robert « Pompon » Bélanger (Suzanne), Liliane Francis (feu Philippe), Jeannette Labrèche (Gaetan), feu Gérald Bélanger (Fernande), Marie Trahan (Gilles) et Léo Bélanger (Mona-Lynn). Il était le beau-frère de Léo (Hèlène) Clément, feu Réal (Marie) Clément, feu Fernand (Margaret) Clément et de feu Gilberte Clément. Il laisse également plusieurs neveux et nièces, autres parentés et amis.

Parents et amis sont invités au Salon Funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 641 deTroyes Ave, Iroquois Falls le mardi 5 mars 2024 de 18h à 20h ainsi que le mercredi 6 mars 2024 de 10h à 11h30. Les funérailles auront lieu le mercredi 6 mars à midi à l’Église Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens d’Iroquois Falls. L’inhumation aura lieu au printemps au Cimetière Abitibi d’Iroquois Falls.
