With heavy hearts the Rickard family announces the sudden passing of Deborah in Petawawa, Ontario on Thursday October 23, 2025 at the age of 55. She will be lovingly remembered by her mother Dorothy Linklater, children Jessica (Reynold) Rickard and Steven (Trista) Rickard, grandchildren Katelyn, Hannah, Jak, RJ, Ryeson and Reid, brother-Brian (Lianne) Linklater, sister Dawn Linklater, niece Paige (Steve) Linklater, nephew Nathan Linklater Sean (Madison) Linklater, great niece Autumn Marie Linklater. She also leaves to mourn nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends. Deborah was pre-deceased by her husband Jack Rickard, father George Linklater Sr, sister Sandra 'Deedee' Linklater, brother George 'Mister' Linklater Jr, sister Valerie Tozer and Nephews Willie and Travis Tozer.
Visitations will take place at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Avenue South in Cochrane on Monday November 3rd, 2025 between 1 to 4 pm.
Deborah will be travelling on her final journey home on the Polar Bear Express Train on Tuesday November 4th, 2025.
Traditional Burial Rites will take place in Moosonee as follow at the
Moosonee Pentecostal Church:
Wednesday November 5th, 2025
Family Service between 6 to 8 pm.
Thursday November 6th, 2025
Public viewing from between 9 to 10 am.
Family viewing between 10 to 12 noon
Funeral Service 12 pm
Following the interment at the Moosonee Cemetery all are invited for a Post-Committal Feast at the Moosonee Community Hall and feel free to bring a dish to share
