Mr. Denis Lemelin

August 29, 1950 – October 20, 2024

With great sadness the Lemelin family announces the sudden death of Denis on Sunday October 20th, 2024 at the age of 74, while travelling Twin Falls Road heading back home from his camp up the Abitibi River, one of his favourite places on earth. He was the son of the late Octave Lemelin (1999) and late Jocelyne Lemelin (nee Chartier) (2016). He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Mary Lemelin (nee Kydd), his sons Paul Lemelin (Katie Rodrigues) and Peter (Christa) Lemelin, grandchildren Dillan (Charlie), Sébastien and Hannah (Anthony), great-grandchildren Sofia, Olivia, Veronica, Oliver, Alec and Sophia. He was the brother of Marie Anne (late Patrick) David, Louise (Raymond) Montreuil, late Roger (late Colette) Lemelin, Suzanne (Raymond) Tremblay, and Robert (Monique) Lemelin. Denis will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cremation will take place, and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday October 25th, 2024 at Denis and Mary’s Garage.  12 pm to 2 pm for family and friends are welcome after 2pm.
