Mrs. Denise Marie Pelletier (nee Bourgeois)

February 22, 1936 – December, 29, 2023

It is with profound sadness that the family of Denise Pelletier announces her peaceful passing on December 29, 2023 at the age of 87, at the Vancouver General Hospital.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there when her children and grandchildren needed her. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community of Iroquois Falls and Connaught where she lived most of her life, and also in Vancouver where she lived for the past 10 years. She loved cooking and receiving everyone. She was patient, non-judgemental, good natured and courageous.

She was predeceased by her parents Ludger Bourgeois and Adelina Perreault of Val Gagné, her parents-in-law Paul Pelletier Sr and Gabrielle Goulet, her grandson Brandon Neill, her brothers Émilien (Jaqueline), Louis (Denise), André, Jean (Liliane), François (Pierrette), her sisters Rita (late Ron) and Marguerite (late Ernest).

She leaves behind her husband of 67 years Paul Pelletier, her children Diane, Richard (Olga), Anne, Michel (Jacqueline) and Sophie. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Vanessa, Dominique, Rachelle, Paul Daniel, Adam, Emilie, Anna and Samuel, her great grandchildren Isabelle and Jessie, many nieces, nephews, and many friends. She will be missed by her siblings Jacques (Late Lizette), Henri (Suzanne), Ubald (Thérèse), Lina (late Denis), Conrad (Noreen), Diane (Peter), Yvan, Madeleine (Richard) and Lucien.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit on Wednesday February 21st, 2024 between 6 to 8 pm at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday February 22nd, 2024 at 11 am in Immaculée-Conception Roman Catholic Church.

Elle était l’épouse de Paul Pelletier et la fille de feu Ludger Bourgeois et feu Adelina Perreault. Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Diane, Richard (Olga), Anne, Michel (Jacqueline) et Sophie, ses petits-enfants Vanessa, Dominique, Rachelle, Paul Daniel, Adam, Emilie, Anna et Samuel, ses arrière-petits-enfants Isabelle et Jessie. Elle laisse également ses sœurs Jacques (feu Lizette), Henri (Suzanne), Ubald (Thérèse), Lina (feu Denis), Conrad (Noreen), Diane (Peter), Yvan, Madeleine (Richard) et Lucien ainsi que plusieurs belles-sœurs, beaux-frères, neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis. Elle fut précédée pas ses sœurs Rita (feu Ron) et Marguerite (feu Ernest), ses frères Émilien (Jaqueline), Louis (Denise), André, Jean (Liliane), François (Pierrette) et son petits-fils Brandon.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls, le jeudi 21 février 2024 de 18h à 20h. Les funérailles auront lieu le jeudi 22 février 2024 à 11h à l'Église Immaculée-Conception de Val-Gagné.
