Dianne McMeekin (nee Cotnam)

December 14, 1947 - October 6, 2023

Dianne passed away at Timmins & District Hospital with her children Erin & Sterling by her side on Friday October 6, 2023 at the age of 75.

She was predeceased by her husband Mark McMeekin, her parents Gerald and Veulah Cotnam and her brother Ron (Shannon). She will be deeply missed by her children Erin Van Clieaf (Regan) and Sterling McMeekin (Robin), her grandchildren Amber, Cori and Lincoln. She also leaves behind many brothers and sisters-in-laws and her cousins Patricia and Lynda who she thought of as sisters. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.

Dianne was so loved by all who know her. She was the kindest, gentlest and happiest person. She could spend hours with her grandchildren playing hide and seek, going to the park, having sleepovers.

Dianne loved spending time with her family and hosting get togethers at the cottage and at her home. She was so proud of her children and supported their every move.

Her independent nature allowed for her to take in road trips, to go shopping or have a visit whenever she got the notion.

She was a world traveler spending time on almost every continent and had recently returned from a Mediterranean cruise with her friends and gushed about loving her time in Venice.

Family and friends are welcome to the Iroquois Falls Legion on Saturday October 14, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm.
