Dominique passed away at the Timmins & District Hospital on Tuesday July 27th, 2021 at the age of 65. He was the son of the late Eloi Hamelin & late Monique Hamelin (nee Cossette). He leaves behind his wife Barbara Hamelin, children Travis (Amanda) Palmateer, Nicholas Palmateer and Robyn Palmateer, grandchildren Blair, Kylie, Ethan, Brody and Tanner. He was the brother of Lise (Réginald) Girard, Reynald (Huguette) Hamelin, Normand (Dolores) Hamelin, late Paul Hamelin, Daniel (Edna) Hamelin and late Julie (Sylvain) Fournier. Dominique also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of his life will be held privately at the family’s farm.
