Her loving family announces the passing of Dorothy surrounded by her loved ones on Friday August 7th, 2020 at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls at the age of 88. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Delaurier (1984) & the late Cecile Delaurier (nee Thomas) (1992). Beloved wife of the late Roland Lavoie (1999). She was the most loving mother of Ron (Debbie), Al, Lois (Orland) Kelly, Della (Yvon) Romain, Jo-Anne (Rick) McCooeye and Shawn (Natalie). Cherished Nanny of Misty (Troy) Tudor, Brody ( Janet) Lavoie, Desti (Brent) Armitage, Trent (Amy) Kelly, Kayne (Ria) Romain, Chelsey Romain (Seb Vachon), Tania Ring (Bud Ivey), Kera (Shaun) Hamelin, Katia Lavoie (Frank Marleau), Kaylie Lavoie (John Cole) and Kieran Lavoie. Dearest Great-Nanny of Braylon & Harper Tudor, Catheryn & Parker Lavoie, Carter & Ryan Armitage, Ainsley & Travis Kelly, Emily & Amber Arlette, Nolan, Ella & Mora Ring, Brendan, Mya, Aidan & Rhyla Hamelin, Amara & Jeremy Cole. She was the sister of the late Laurette & Emmett O'Donnell, late Albert & Jeannine Delaurier, Roly & Patricia Delaurier, late Fred & Ava Delaurier, Emmett (late Anita) Delaurier, late Edward (Betty) Delaurier, late Bill & Dorothy Delaurier, Alvin (Georgette) Delaurier, Stan (Enid) Delaurier, late Steve (LouAnne) Delaurier, Denny (Paulette) Delaurier, Wayne (Dianne) Delaurier, Shirley (Ed) Larose, Mark (Judy) Delaurier & Glenna (late Eric) Hardman. Dorothy will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
 

Visitations will be held on Tuesday August 11th, 2020 from 9 am to 3:30 pm. The Funeral Mass of Christians burial will follow at 4 pm St-Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls followed by cremation and her ashes will be intered with her loving husband Roland at the Abitibi Cemetery

Memorial donations can be made to the South Centennial Manor Redevelopment (donations payable by cheques only to the order of AGH Foundation) and would be greatly appreciated.
