It is with heavy hearts that her family announces her unexpected passing in Cochrane, on Sunday February 2, 2020, at the age of 62. She leaves in mourning her husband John G. Hunter, her children: Pearl Whiskeychan (Philip Archibald), Jason Whiskeychan (Eileen Southwind), Bernard Hunter (Valentina Sutherland), Megan Hunter, Morgan Hunter, 14 grandchildren and 12 jabans.
Dorothy was the sister of Gordon (Christine) Whiskeychan, the late Monroe (Christine) Gunner, Harriet (the late Bert) Chilton, Fredrick (Roseanne) Whiskeychan, the late Redfern Whiskeychan, Johnny (Sandra) Whiskeychan, Francis (Pat) Whiskeychan and the late Mathew Wiskeychan.
She also leaves in mourning numerous friends and aunt of numerous nephews and nieces.
Predeceased by her parents Isiah & Louisa (nee Morrison) Whiskeychan.
The family will receive family and friends on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 149 Third St. W. of Cochrane.
The chapel service will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2 pm with Brother Johnny Whiskeychan officiating. Dorothy will be laid to rest at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery in the spring of 2020.

please drop off at the Ininew Friendship Centre, 190 3rd Ave,
between 12 noon to 3 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
