Mr. Edgar R. Proulx
August 29, 1938 – June 17, 2025

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Edgar Proulx at the Lady Minto Hospital of Cochrane on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the age of 86.
He will be greatly missed by his children Joanne (Peter) Hermeston, Marvin Proulx (Micheline Blais), Cheryl Proulx (Gaspari) and Debbie (Andy) Proulx-Buffalo, his son-in-law Andy Gaspari, his grandchildren Steven (Christine), Christopher, Franklin (Caitlyn), Zachary (Elizabeth-Ann), Jenna, Dylan, late Jessica, Christina (Steve), Ashley, Naomi, Jacob, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.  

Predeceased by his wife Alice (nee Roberts) Proulx, his parents Rosaire and Alma (nee Johnson) Proulx and all his siblings Millie (late Russell) Cowan, late Wes (Jean) Proulx and late Sandra (late Tony Sr) Onolack.

In respecting Edgar’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral to be held.

A special thank you to Marion and to the Lady Minto hospital staff, especially Janeque and Emma for caring for Edgar.
