Eleanor Blais (nee Foster)

August 14, 1946 - October 20, 2023

It is with great sorrow that her family announces her unexpected passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Friday October 20th, 2023 at the age of 77. She was the daughter of the late Gordon Foster and late Julienne Foster (nee Damas). She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Leo Blais, children Sandra (Denis) Lelievre, John (Jennifer) Blais and Ron (Allie) Blais, grandchildren Donald (Louise), Kyle, Dustin (Sam), Dylan (Jessica), Ava, Tara, Kezmin (Paige) and Keaston (Alyssa), great-grandchildren Nathan, Benjamin, Aaron, Jayce and Nixen. She was the sister of Beverley Hilts and late Robert Foster. She will also leave behind brothers and sisters-in-law of the Blais family, her best friend for over 55 years Diane Fournier, her cat Murphy, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are welcome for a gathering at the Iroquois Falls Royal Canadian Legion on Devonshire Avenue on Tuesday October 24th, 2023, between 2 to 4:30 pm & 6 to 8 pm.
