Mrs. Betty Zadow (nee Falconi)

January 11, 1927 – January 20, 2026

Betty passed away peacefully at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 99 on Tuesday January 20th, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Natale Falconi and Eveylina Falconi (nee Bonany). Beloved wife of the late Judd Zadow who predeceased her on July 31st, 2021.  She leaves behind her children Tim (Pat) Zadow, Patricia (Rodney) Bruce, Georgina (Dan) Mangan, and her 5 grandchildren Laura Zadow, John  (Kimberly) Zadow, Tyler (Katie) Bruce, Sean Mangan (Danielle), Padraic (Patrycja) Mangan, and her great-grandchildren Logan Zadow, Jordan Zadow, Aria and Noah, Evie Mangan and Mila Mangan. She was the sister of late Ellena (Foy) Gulick, late Angelina (Gary) Duquette, late Virginia (Norman) Lafontaine, Rita and late(Leo) Morrissette, late Esther Zadow and late Betty (late Reginald) Linklater. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service and the placement of her ashes at the Abitibi Cemetery Columbarium will be held later in the Spring 2026

Her family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the people who provided excellent care to Betty during her stay at the South Centennial Manor and her visits at the Anson General Hospital.
