Elmer Fisher

December 5, 1953 – April 8, 2026

 It is with heavy hearts the family of Elmer Fisher announce his passing on April 8, 2026, in Sudbury, Ontario, at the age of 72.

Elmer was born on December 5, 1953, in Bracebridge, Ontario, and made his home in Iroquois Falls, Ontario where he enjoyed family, fishing and curling.

He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Mary Pat; his son, Casey; daughter-in-law, Lynn; and his cherished grandson, Ethan.

Elmer was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Ethel Fisher; brother Bill and sisters Florence and Donna.  Elmer is survived by brother Roy and sisters Verina, Shirley and Janet.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Elmer’s memory may be made to the South Centennial Manor Redevelopment Project.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
