Mrs. Elsie Emily Malherbe (nee Frazer)

June 16, 1931 – March 5, 2023

With great sorrow her family announces the passing of Elsie at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Sunday March 5th, 2023 at the age of 91. She was predeceased in 2005 by her husband Ovila Malherbe, her father Arthur Frazer and her mother Beatrice Frazer (nee Palamer). She will be missed by her children Sharon Malherbe (Bertrand Trudel) and James (Stella) Malherbe. She was the sister of Ethel (late Roly) Prevost.

Our Mom was a beacon of light that guided us through good times and bad. 
Her love for her family and friends is eternal. 
She touched so many of us, including her friends and staff at the Lady Minto Villa.  Mom enjoyed living there and participated in many activities that brought her joy.
Mom would want to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff who supported her there.
We will miss her.

Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave, South, Cochrane on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 7pm to 9pm and also on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
The funeral mass will be held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 160 Sixth Ave. Cochrane on Friday, May 19, 2023 officiated by Reverend Patricia Dorland at 11 am.

Elsie will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Cochrane Civic.
