It is with great sadness that the family of Ernie announces his unexpected passing at home on Saturday, June 15, 2024, just the day before his 49th birthday. He leaves behind his son Chase Whiting,  his siblings: Edward (Paulette), Georgina (Rick), Sylvia, Terry, Trisha (Terry), Holly (Robert), Jody and his great love Micheline Roberge.

He was the uncles of several nieces, nephews and friends.

Ernie was predeceased by his mother Georgina (nee Churcher) Whiting, his father Ernest Whiting and his siblings Fred and Margaret.
He will be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery with his parents.
