Mrs. Ethel Jean Prevost (nee Frazer)

October 1, 1935 – October 9, 2025

With great sadness the Prevost family announces her passing at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane on Thursday October 9th, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband Roland (Roly) Prevost. She was the Dear mother of Kenneth (Sue) Prevost of Peterborough, Roderick Prevost, and Jeffery Prevost of Rouyn, QC. She was the grandmother of Eric (Joanne), David, Tania, J.C., and Christopher, great-grandmother of Rae, Alby, Noah, Marysa, Shanel and Alicia.  She was also predeceased by her parents Arthur and Beatrice (nee Palmer) Frazer and her siblings Bert, Jack, Wilfred and Elsie.

Visitations will be held on Friday October 17th, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:45 am at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 Seventh  Avenue South, Cochrane. The Funeral Service will follow at 11 am at the Archbishop Anderson Memorial Anglican Church, 150, 6th, Avenue Cochrane and a reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Ethel will be laid to rest beside her husband, Roly at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery.

At the request of the family, please do not send flowers and In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Parish and would be greatly appreciated.
