Frank Joseph Rossi
April 3, 1936 - January 13, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Frank peacefully at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls at the age of 89.
Frank is cherished husband of Claudette (née Bernier) whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Beloved dad to David (Carole), Danny and grandchildren Ally, Samantha (Brady) and Jake (Emma). He is survived by his sister, Stella (late Aurêle) Chabot of Cochrane.
He was predeceased by his parents Pete (Blanche née Racicot) Rossi, siblings late Rose (late Harold) Walker, late Peter “Sonny” Rossi, late Joan (late Charlie) O'keefe, late Marlene (late Mervin) Gamble and parents-in-law late Alfred (late Juliette née Bouchard) Bernier.
He was brother-in-law of the late Jeannot (Aldéa surviving) Bernier, late Louisette (late Carmel) Genest, late Lauriette (late Steve) Hyatt, late Jean- Claude Bernier, late Clément Bernier, late Régis (Lucille surviving) Bernier, late Réjean (late Louise) Bernier, late Jean-Yves Bernier, late Roger (Léona surviving) Bernier, Guy Bernier, Marcel (Francine) Bernier and Denise (Gabriel) Tombesi. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Frank will be remembered for his sense of humour from all the people who met him on his daily outings to get his paper, at the post office, the grocery stores or pharmacy. A lifelong curling enthusiast, he played curling as a skip for over many years with the Iroquois Falls Curling Club or committed to watching curling matches on television.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and especially Dr. Sepher for their compassion and support.
As per Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will celebrate his life privately in the spring. If desired, donations to the Anson General Hospital Auxiliary or South Centennial Manor Redevelopment Project would be appreciated by the family.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to
