George Russell Moore

October 24, 1955 – February 20, 2020

His family announces the passing of George Moore on Thursday, February 20th, 2020 at the Timmins & District Hospital at the age of 64. He was the beloved son of the late Russell Moore and the late Edith Moore (nee Phillips), brother of Samuel (Françoise) Moore, Florence (Jim) Fawcett and late Mary Barrette (late Larry Barrette, late Stan Burkholder), uncle of Cindy (Frank), Christine (late Leo), Samantha (Ed), Traci and Darryl (Jennifer), great-uncle of Amber, Morgan, Rain, Kaylin, Taryn, Ella and Charlie, great-great-uncle of Malakai, Kaileah, Heaven, Mehzeya, Zayden, Kylo, Hope, and Zaria. George will also be missed by his many friends from the Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 2nd, 2020 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 149 Third Street, Cochrane. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 2nd, 2020 at 11 am at St. Paul’s United Church in Cochrane. The burial will be held in the spring at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery.
