The family announces with great sadness the passing of George at the Timmins & District Hospital of Timmins on Saturday June 22, 2024, at the age of 91.
George will be sadly missed by his children George (Marie), Donald, Lorraine, Wayne (Roseann), Gordon (Debbie), Carl, Pauline, Dwight (Patricia), Priscilla (Gordie) Trapper, Conrad and Earl (Sharon).
He was the grandfather of several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
George also leaves in mourning many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Predeceased by his wife Cecile (nee Sutherland) Ross (1973), his mother Annie (nee Ross) Langelle (1972) and his siblings Edward (1923), Nellie Robinson (2013) and Frances Ross (2024).
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit at Génier Gauthier funeral home, 70 Seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 9:30 am till 11 am.
The Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11am.
George will be laid to rest at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery beside his mother.
