With heavy hearts his family announces his passing on Monday March 23rd, 2020 at the age of 63 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital. He was the son of Leopold Fortier and Yvette Fortier (nee Bellavance). He will be greatly missed by his wife Barbara Fortier (nee Montgomery), his sons Mark (Melissa) Fortier of Hamilton and Terry (Ashley) Fortier of Cochrane, his grandchildren Marselo Fortier, Angelina Fortier, Riley Jacques, Breanne Jacques and Alexander Fortier, his siblings Daniel (Jeanne) Fortier of Smooth Rock Falls, Louise Fortier of North Bay and Luc (Linda) Fortier of Smooth Rock Falls, he also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
