Mr. Gilles Gervais
September 19, 1936 – February 14, 2022
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Gilles at the Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Monday February 14th, 2022 at the age of 85. He was the son of the late Francis Gervais and the late Courona Gervais (nee Chaput) and beloved husband of the late Lucille Gervais (nee Chartier). He will be sadly missed by his wife Jeanne Gervais (nee Labelle), children Renelle (Michael Connors), Gilles (Suzanne) and Carole Anne (Richard deLaplante). He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters Lucille Drapeau, Dinase Howlett, Ella Charlebois, Bernadette Thompson, and brother Frank. Predeceased also by his daughter Nicole Gervais, sisters Estelle Iurman, Yvonne Lachapelle and brothers Roger, Jacques and Fernand.
The internment will be held in the spring 2022 at the Abitibi Cemetery beside his first wife Lucille.
