In Loving Memory of
Glenn Arnold Porter
December 29, 1951 - November 15, 2022
Surrounded by his loving children, Glenn passed away peacefully at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Tuesday November 15th, 2022 at the age of 70.
He is now reunited with the love of his life Josefina Porter (nee Jatico) who predeceased him on November 19th, 2020. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Mary-Joy Porter (Alain Vaillancourt), his son Edwin Jatico Porter, his grandchildren Gabrielle and Pascal Vaillancourt. He was the the son of the late Selwyn and Rita Porter (nee Flageole) and brother of Lynda (late Gus) Gélinas, Don Porter, late James Porter, late Brian Porter, Dale (Kathy) Porter and Shawn (Sondra) Porter. Brother-in-law of the late Pilar (Felipe) Hiceta, Nilo Jatico (Lydia ‘’Babee’’ Abad), Nicandra (Marcelino) Lumagbas, Flor Lucila (late Rey) Pagaduan, Victoria (Leo) Villahermosa, Justina (late Rudy) Catan, Luisa (late Florante) Init and Benjamin (Felilla) Jatico. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls on Monday November 21st, 2022 from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday November 22nd, 2022 at 11 am at the St. Anne Catholic Church in Iroquois Falls. The interment will take place later at the Abitibi Cemetery.
