The family of Harold announces his sudden passing in Iroquois Falls on FridayJune 3rd, 2022 at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Hugh Kerr and late Viola Kerr (nee Macaskill). He will be deeply missed by his wife Debbie Kerr (nee Denault), children Amanda (Kurt) Weare & Heather (Dave) King, Christopher (Sophy) Montreuil and Anthony Montreuil (Shannara Labelle-Beadman). He is survived by his grandchildren Clark King, Owen King, Jedson Montreuil and Ethan Kerr. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Gary (Rose) Kerr, Douglas (Elaine) Kerr, Hughie (Elizabeth) Kerr, parents-in-law Daniel & Gail Denault, brothers and sisters-in-law Tammy (Don) Brousseau, Katie Denault and Sean Denault, nieces and nephews, Mathew Brousseau, Ryan Brousseau, Stephanie (Jay) Harnett and Greg (Claire) Kerr.

Harold (Howie) was a long-time employee of the pulp and paper industry. He was very passionate in his profession. He was an avid golfer and motorcyclist enthusiast. He thoroughly enjoyed his vacation time in Florida and was known as the mayor of Pool #1. Howie was a very friendly person and became friends quickly with anyone he met. He was known for his sharp whit, humour and sarcasm. He was never shy to express his devotion and love for the love of his life. He enjoyed spending time and being surrounded by his family. He loved his girls so much and spoke of them glowingly. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He will be laid to rest at the Abitibi Cemetery Columbarium and no other ceremonies will be held. In his memory, donations may be made to the Toronto General Hospital (Transplant Unit) and would be greatly appreciated.
