With great sorrow the Prevost family announces the passing of Harvey at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Friday December 13, 2024 at the age of 91. He was the son of the late Rosaire and Winnifred (nee Alberton) Prevost. He was the beloved husband of the late Marianne ‘'Marion'' Prevost (nee Yenko) who predeceased him in 2018. Father of Larry (Anne) Prevost, Glenn Prevost (Kyla Shier), Harold (Janet) Prevost, Sue Bertrand (Greg Spalding), the late Doreen (the late Philip) MacDonald, Corrinne (Marc) Boissonneault, the late Anita Prevost and Jacqueline Prevost, grandfather of Alan Bertrand, Chris Bertrand, the late Charlie Bertrand, Sharlon Zaverucha, Valerie Cline, Rhonda Prevost, Rob MacDonald, the late Mike MacDonald, Amanda MacDonald, Jenna Sigouin, Alex McGuey, Emily Boissonneault, Jacqueline Boissonneault, Joel Boissonneault, Mathieu Boissonneault and Luke Storms, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather of numerous children.

Harvey was the brother of Emma (late Fern) Girard and Herb (late Geraldine) Prevost. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 Visitations will be held at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 70 Seventh Avenue South, Cochrane on Thursday December 19th, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm & 6 pm to 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday December 20th, 2024 at 11 am at the Funeral Home. The interment will be held in the spring at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery.
